The location on the rivers was amazing, couldn't ask for better views. The closeness to Jasper town was quite convenient ass well.
We had booked simply a 'queen' room and unfortunately assumed that we would be getting a cabin, there was no specification in our booking. So we went to the front desk, asked if they had a cabin available. They did and unfortunately for $50 more, so we paid the extra and moved to the cabin.
We love the location, quiet and surrounded by Mountains.
I do not like that you cant check in until after 4:00pm and have to check out by 11:00am. When you are paying $250 for only 19 hours, it feels like you are getting ripped off. They need to change the check in time to justify the price.
The location, the price of the cabin, the friendly staff......and the fireplace.
The kitchen appliances were out dated and need to be replaced.
The restaurant was absolutely amazing and exactly what I remembered.
We cancelled the second night of our stay because our reservation was not what we were expecting. Front desk staff did very little to fix the error, and for the price the room was extremely disapointing.
Good Location just outside Jasper
We occupied a room above the Restaurant. The room was very small and noisey due to early morning food preperation in the kitchens below. The place was very dated and out of the 8 Hotels we stayed during our holliday in Canada this in terms of quality of accomodation was by far the worst.
The atmosphere of Jasper.
It is expensive when one considers the size of room we had. We stayed with you 45 years ago on our honeymoon- that is primarily why we returned.
Great staff, location. Cabins are aged but charming.
Too pricey for the aged units
The hotel staff were very quick and responsive to any requests. The breakfast was lovely and complimentary with the room we stayed in. The rooms in the lodge were quite small but nicely decorated. Short walk to town.
Only issue was that kettle cord was too short so had to plug in and use on floor. Prob could have asked for extension plug though!
Bathroom was a bit too basic and small. Facilities could have been a bit more modern and lacked a bit of atmosphere.
Location is great, 2km outside town by the lake and we even saw Elk outside our lodge. Full kitchen is awesome. Staffs are friendly and the place is well-organized.
Gas stove is broken when we came to the room.
I love the friendly helpful staff and the extremely clean cabin .
The room was tiny and no TV.
Very quiet, scenic location and rustic atmosphere. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Heating was a little primitive.
1. Rooms were too tiny 2. Washroom and shawer were unconfortably small. 3. Not at all a good value for the money charged.
We stayed there for two nights. Comfortable and convenient to walk to town. Very small rooms but felt cozy. Good breakfast at the restaurant. Quiet location next to a river,
